PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing device facilitating putting a suture through the bone by improving a conventional steel wire for perforating the bone for suturing the bone again after osteotomy or suturing of crushed hard tissue in an orthopedic surgery.
SOLUTION: In order to suture the bone again after osteotomy for developing an artificial joint or to suture bones with respect to the crack of a femur in the work of the artificial joint and breaking of the bone made by an external injury, a bone perforation part at the tip of the steel wire is threaded. A peripheral part other than the threaded part is stepped and thinned. A thinned terminal end is perforated for putting the steel wire or a thread for bone suture. By thinning the peripheral part, conventional operation for pulling out the steel wire mechanically from an opposite side is not required, and can manually be carried out. A bone suture needle for performing this bone suture easily and speedily is developed. By this medical device, it is facilitated and accelerated to suture the bone again after osteotomy in the orthopedic surgery and to suture the broken bone.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
