CATALYST FOR REMOVING ORGANIC CHLORINE COMPOUND AND REMOVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a catalyst which can continue to efficiently decompose harmful organic chlorine compounds such as dioxins at low temperatures even when it carries a small amount of palladium, and to provide a method for decomposing the organic chlorine compounds.

SOLUTION: In the catalyst for removing harmful organic chlorine compounds, chromium and cerium are supported on a carrier, and palladium is supported on them. The catalyst is used in the method for decomposing the organic chlorine compounds.
