<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic power supply multiplexing apparatus which changes a plurality of power supplies and automatically connects them to a load, wherein the power supply connected to a load can be automatically recognized. <P>SOLUTION: To connect a live power line of two sets of power lines to be connected to a commercial power supply 21 and an engine generator 22 to an information processor 32, a coil of one relay RL1 and RL2 and contacts rI1 and rI2 of the two relays are respectively connected to the two sets of the power lines. With respect to the relay RL1, the make contact is connected to the power line from the commercial power supply 21, and the break contact is connected to the power line from the engine generator 22. With respect to the relay RL2, the make contact is connected to the power line from the engine generator 22, and the break contact is connected to the power line from the commercial power supply 21.
