<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fare adjusting device for allowing a user to accumulate an IC card without visiting a place where a dedicated IC card accumulating device is set. <P>SOLUTION: When an accumulation button 6 is depressed, and an IC card is detected by an IC card processing part 2, a fare adjusting device 1 shifts to an accumulation mode.
