<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access management system having high processing speed, and capable of executing a lower-cost global anti-pass back check and route check. <P>SOLUTION: This access management system has: a rewritable portable storage unit storing an ID number portably carried by a passerby, and passage information rewritten in each passage of gates to specific areas, allowing understanding of an area wherein the passerby is present at the present; and an access controller provided in each of the plurality of gates to the specific areas, previously storing passage conditions and the ID number permitted with the passage of each the gate, reading the passage information and the ID number from the passerby's portable storage unit, executing ID decision on the basis of the previously stored ID number, and executing the global anti-pass back check allowing the passage of the passerby when the passage information fits the previously stored passage conditions, and rewriting the passage information inside the portable storage unit such that the passage information shows that the passerby is present in the next area after gate passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
