PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improvement in a glass tube heater having glass tubes arranged duplicatedly, by integrating the duplicated glass tubes. SOLUTION: The glass tube heater 1 comprises a glass tube 2, a coil shaped resistance wire 3 inserted into the glass tube 2, and sealing members 4, 4 provided on both the ends of the glass tube 2. The glass tube 1 comprises two cylinder shaped glass tube parts 2a, 2b, having different diameters with both the ends sealed. A sealed space 2c formed by the two cylinder glass tube parts 2a, 2b is filled with gas having lower heat conductivity than air. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
