<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery that utilizes lithium using the insertion/desorption reaction of lithium ion of which electric capacity is large, charge and discharge efficiency is high, energy density is high, and cycle life is long. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a cathode active material or an anode active material is provided with a process in which a nonionic surface active agent is dissolved into an organic solvent sparingly soluble or insoluble into water, and after an emulsion is prepared by mixing transition metal salt aqueous solution, Li salt or LiOH aqueous solution is made to react, and the mixture is dried and calcined, thereby a porous hollow-structure lithium-transition metal oxide is obtained, as well as a manufacturing method of the secondary battery which utilizes lithium is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
