<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize singing by utilizing playing data such as MIDI data. <P>SOLUTION: Inputted playing data are analyzed as musical sound information on the pitch and length of a sound and lyrics (S2, S3). The lyrics are imparted from the analyzed musical sound information to a tone sequence to generate singing data (S5). Before the singing data are passed to a speech synthesizer, the register of the singing data is compared with the register of the speech synthesizer and keys of the singing data and playing data are changed so that singing is included in the register of the speech synthesizer (S9-S12, S14). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
