PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device in which a plurality of protrusions, that are extended or retracted by the driving force of an ultrasonic motor, is provided, the size is small and many braille data or the like are displayed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a communication section in which transmission and reception of data are conducted, a conversion section which is used to convert character data received by the communication section into braille data and a braille unit (a braille display section 3) which is provided with a plurality of protrusions that are extended or retracted by the driving force of the ultrasonic motor.
