摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a mold for an optical connector capable of inexpensively manufacturing highly precise butt holes for connecting optical fibers mutually. SOLUTION: Butt hole forming pins 110 for forming the butt holes of the optical connector permitting the insertion and butting of the optical fibers to optically connect the optical fibers are fixed to a pin fixing stand 400 to be provided in the mold for injection-molding the optical connector. The butt hole forming pins 110 are fixed to the pin fixing stand 400 by letting an adhesive or the like to flow in the gaps between the inner peripheries of the pin fixing holes 402 of the pin fixing parts 402a of the pin fixing stand 400 and the outer peripheries of the butt hole forming pins 110. Since the butt hole forming pins 110 are round rods having a definite outer diameter and the shapes of them are simple, the processing for extremely enhancing precision such as roundness, a cylindrical degree, a coaxial degree or the like can be made easy and inexpensive.
