VIDEO AND AUDIO SIGNAL RECORDING AND REPRODUCING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an easy dubbing function for a user in an apparatus including a reproducer and a recorder in one housing. SOLUTION: An integral apparatus 100 includes a reproducer 110 and a recorder 120 in one housing. A dubbing start timing is indicated to a dubbing control section 140 by means of a switch 130, and the dubbing control section 140 indicates a reproduction start timing to the reproducer 110 and a recording start timing to the recorder 120. Under control of the dubbing control section 140, the reproducer 110 detects a video audio signal from a reproduction media 111 and performs a desired processing required for dubbing on that signal before it is outputted. The recorder 120 receives that signal and similarly performs a desired processing on that signal before it is recorded on a recording medium 121.
