PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system and photographing apparatus in which a client can take part in an attraction in a theme park or the like and amusement features can be improved. SOLUTION: A predetermined image is displayed on a large screen display 76 of a screen unit 72, and a plurality of marks 86 indicating presence of characters are displayed while moving. When a guest 88 who is an operator of a digital camera 10, moves the digital camera 10 so that any mark 86 can enter a photographic range, a character image 92 is displayed in place of the mark 86 on a display part 46 of the digital camera 10. When the guest 88 presses a shutter button in such a state, a point corresponding to the state of the character at that time is recorded on a memory card together with the composite image of a photographed image and the character image 92.
