A casing (1) for an audio device, comprising a body (2) and a front panel (3) formed so as to be projected from the upper and side faces of the body (2) to the outside, wherein sharp edges (43) are formed at the rear end face corner parts (41) of the front panel (3) and small bosses (45) are formed on the insides of the sharp edges (43), whereby since a force concentrating into one point of the sharp edge when a finger touches the sharp edge (43) is distributed to two points of the sharp edge (43) and the boss (45) by the provision of the boss (45), the possibility of injury when the finger touches the sharp edge can be reduced, and since the boss is provided on the inside of the sharp edge, the design appearance of the sharp edge can be assured.
