PURPOSE: A document processing method using a communication network is provided to enhance a processing rate of a document by automatically transferring a document to each document processing step in the case of using a communication network and informing a processor of the next step about the document by using a communication service. CONSTITUTION: A document registration requester, namely, an operator, is connected to a document processing server(16) by using own terminal(12), and registers a document in the document processing server(16)(S1). The document processing server(16) sends an e-mail for informing that document has been registered to an e-mail server(18)(S2). When a terminal(14) of a reviewer is connected to the e-mail server(18), the e-mail is transferred to the terminal(14)(S3,S4). The reviewer checks the e-mail, reviews a content of the registered document and clicks 'authentication' to register the registered document in the document processing server(16)(S5). The document processing server(16) copies the registered document and transfer it together with registered document information to a document processing server(24)(S6). The document processing server(16) sends an e-mail for informing that the document has been sent to a corresponding e-mail address to the e-mail server(26)(S7,S8). When A terminal(22) of a processor who is to process the registered document is connected to the e-mail server(26), the e-mail is transferred to the terminal(22)(S11,S12). The processor checks the e-mail, makes a response to a problem and improvement matters described in the registered document, and clicks 'registration' to register the corresponding document in the document processing server(24)(S13). The document processing server(24) copies the registered document and transfers it together with registered document information to the corresponding document processing server(16)(S14). The document processing server(16) sends an e-mail for informing that the document has been registered to the e-mail server(18)(S15). When the terminal(12) and the terminal(14) are connected to the e-mail server(18), the e-mail informed by the document processing server(16) is transferred to the terminals(12,14)(S16-S19).
