BALLOON CATHETER WITH ULTRASONIC MARKER, AND CHEMICAL INJECTION/BLOOD VESSEL INSERTION CATHETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter with an ultrasonic marker where a position in the neighborhood of the ultrasonic balloon of the balloon catheter with the ultrasonic marker can be confirmed by mounting the ultrasonic marker which can be confirmed by ultrasonic echo diagnostic equipment to the rear of the balloon.

SOLUTION: The balloon catheter (1) with the ultrasonic marker has the expansible balloon (5) mounted to the distal end of a shaft tube (3) and has the ultrasonic marker (4) mounted to the outer periphery of the rear side of the balloon (5). At least one or more ultrasonic markers (4a1, 4a2 and 4an) are arranged at prescribed intervals from the position of the ultrasonic marker (4) from forward toward backward in the longitudinal direction of a shaft tube (3).
