PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of processing an image in real time and to provide a program related to a method. SOLUTION: A plurality of scenes set to a selected stream are sequentially switched at a speed set by a tempo dial and a tempo tap in an arpeggiator automatic switching mode. A rate of a time for interpolation processing for processing a received video image on the basis of video image processing information resulting from interpolating and generating both scenes to a time of complete processing for processing on the basis of the video processing information generated by one scene only between a time from a start point of the working processing on the basis of a preceding scene and a time to a start point of the working processing on the basis of a succeeding scene can be revised by change time and a switching point of 50% provides the equal processing rate between the interpolation and the complete processing. In a manual switching mode, when a JOG dial is turned by five turns, the video working information can be revised from the start point of the working processing on the basis of the preceding scene to the start point of the working processing on the basis of the succeeding scene. The change time setting even in this mode is effective and the interpolation processing and the complete processing can be switched at the same point as that of the automatic switching mode.
