PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processor which can execute internal processing at high speed which can execute data processing at high speed even if the data format is different, and which can transfer compression image data having the required compression format. SOLUTION: A data processor 250 executes the processing to data without executing the extension and the compression to them, and transfers them to an interface part 210. The processor 20 and a general-purpose header adding part 211 are provided in one circuit returning to the interface part 210 from the data processor separately from a route returning to the interface part 210 through an extension part 220 and a compression part 240. The general-purpose header is added to the compressed image data transferred from the data processing part 250 to the general-purpose header adding part 211. After that, the data are transferred to the interface part 210. The interface 210 transfers the compression image data received from the data processing part 250 to an image bus 300.
