PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute image processing by selecting either of image processing preferential to the image quality and image processing which takes priority over the suppression of power consumption. SOLUTION: The image processor executes the image processing of image signals to be outputted from an image sensor and it outputs them. It is provided with a preprocessing circuit for generating correction signals on the basis of the image signals obtained from the image sensor, a signal processing circuit for correcting the image signals by using the correction signals and for converting them to luminance signals and color difference signals, and a control block. The control block executes either of first processing which makes the signal processing circuit to use the correction signals based on the image of a preceding frame from the frame of the image to be imparted to the signal processing circuit; and second processing which makes an external memory to store the image signals obtained from the image sensor, which makes the signal processing circuit to have the stored image by reading out them, and which makes the signal processing circuit to use the correction signals based on the image of the same frame as that of the image.
