PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television camera which allows any moving object on a taken picture to be replaced with an alternate picture. SOLUTION: The camera comprises means 6, 7, 9 which detect an object meeting preset features from taken pictures and superpose a preset alternative picture corresponding thereto on the detected picture.
