PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make one imaging apparatus able to image both a distance calculating image and a displaying image. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus 2, a left and right mirrors 7A, 7B inclined with specified angles are arranged on the left and right sides of a wide-angle lens 6, and an imaging pixel part 8 is provided facing the wide-angle lens 6. The imaging pixel part 8 is provided with a direct zone 8c at the center for directly inputting an image passed through the wide-angle lens 6 and a left and right reflecting zones 8a, 8b at the left and right for inputting images reflected from the left and right mirrors 7A, 7B. The image taken by the image pixel part 8 is sent to an image processor ECU connected through a network cable 5a, and the processor ECU converts it to a displaying image and processes the images taken on the left and right reflecting zones 8a, 8b to calculate the distance.
