PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lamp heater using a carbon thread as a planar heat source which is formed by weaving carbon threads as warp and woof, applying ceramic coating on it, cutting into a prescribed length and width, fixing both ends of it by fixing terminals and connecting it to a lead wire, and by making it usable by easily adjusting the number of the carbon thread and the bundle thereof. SOLUTION: The lamp heater comprises a carbon body of a certain length of which width in a warp 12 direction is smaller than the inner diameter of the lamp, a ceramic layer which provides a binding force by coating the surface of the carbon body, and a fixing terminal 20 pressing and fixing the both ends of the coated carbon body and conducted to the lead wire 4.
