PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head having a liquid supply needle enhanced in strength and reduced in thickness to the utmost. SOLUTION: The liquid jet head is equipped with a flow channel forming member 32 having a liquid jet part 25 attached thereto and the hollow liquid supply needle 27 attached to the flow channel forming member 32. The liquid supply needle 27 has a straight pipe part 81, the pointed part 82 provided to the leading end of the straight pipe part 81 and an expanded diameter part 83 where the inner diameter of the straight pipe part 81 is made gradually large. A plurality of reinforcing plates 49 are formed along the axial direction of the straight pipe part 81 so as to go toward the inside of the straight pipe part 81 from the inner surface thereof and connected within the straight pipe part 81 so as to partition a plurality of liquid flow channels 51A or the like within the straight pipe part 81. The end parts 50 on the leading end side of the reinforcing plates 49 looked from the axial direction of the straight pipe part 81 are integrated with the inner end surfaces 85A and 85B of the straight pipe part 81 in which the liquid passing holes 84 formed to the pointed part 82 are opened.
