PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming apparatus which has superior repeating stability of an image, and forms images of stable image quality even when a plurality of paper sheets are continuously outputted, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor used therefor. SOLUTION: In this electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 provided with a conductive support and a photoreceptive layer provided on the support, an average reflectivity of light in the photoreceptive layer is 7% or less. By this electrophotographic photoreceptor, photosensitivity in the photoreceptive layer is uniformized and the photosensitivity is maintained uniform even after repeated use.
