PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake for a vehicle such as a carriage or a wheelchair in a simple structure. SOLUTION: A bake mechanism comprises a pair of brake shoes 30 mounted on a base 10a mounted on a base plate 1a so as to be turnable and abutment possible on the front and rear parts of a rear wheel 3b and wire pins 41 mounted at the ends of the pair of brake shoes 30.
