PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove soil and sand left on the upper face of an existing pipe by protecting it so as not to damage the outer surface of the existing pipe. SOLUTION: The surplus soil removal equipment comprises a required length device body 5 in a shape along the outer surface of the upper part of the existing pipe, an excavation blade 6 provided on the front part of the device body 5, and a propulsion force receiving member 7 provided on the upper part of the device body 5 and receiving the propulsion force when propelling the device body 5.
