PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a cut pavement body to be removed at a time, by adjusting the thickness of the cut pavement body to be removed, and to safely and surely remove the cut pavement body. SOLUTION: When a pavement to be cut around a manhole is thick, a lift board 4 is installed in the pavement body up to a proper depth, and the pavement is cut by surrounding the lift board 4. A central part of the cut pavement body undergoes core cutting, so that a lift-up bar 5 can be fixed to the lift board 4, and the lift-up bar 5 is pulled up for the removal of the pavement body on the lift board 4. Since the pavement to be cut and removed is split for removal, the weight of the pavement body can be properly adjusted when the lift-up bar 5 is pulled up, and the cut pavement body can be surely removed without the need for a large-sized crane.
