PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a passenger awaiting a train to promptly obtain plenty of information including train traffic information or the like without changing his/her eye line, and to display the train traffic information or the like in a safe manner not to interfere with the operation of the train. SOLUTION: This guide display system is installed in a subway yard to display various information including at least the train traffic information. In the case of a relative type platform, a transmission type or reflection type video display screen 3 is installed along a traveling direction of the train between intermediate columns 2, 2 between the platforms facing each other, and a video projecting device 4 is installed above the platform. When arrival information of the operating train is obtained, a projected video from the video projecting device is shut off or switched to a still image before the arrival of the train.
