PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a command conversion device of a controller for a plate bending machine which can improve the versatility of machining program and in which the designation and the change in a bending angle can be easily executed when the machining program is made and corrected. SOLUTION: The command conversion device of the controller for the plate bending machine is provided with a machining program storage means 5 for storing the machining program 4 of a conversion source to which the bending angleθof a plate W to be bent by the plate bending machine 2 is written, a means 7 for setting a depth amount corresponding to the bending angle which sets the relation of the bending angleθand the depth amount h of the bending to be executed by the plate bending machine 2, and a means 6 for converting the bending angle/the depth amount which converts the bending angleθof the machining program 4 to the depth amount h depending on the setting contents of the means 7 for setting the depth amount corresponding to the bending angle.
