PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining device capable of adjusting the position of the knees of a user almost to the same height as that of the heart when a backrest member is turned down to place the user in a relaxed posture. SOLUTION: The reclining device comprises a base board 3 extended in the front/rear directions, guide members 20 standing on both sides of the base board 3 and movable in the front/rear directions, the backrest member 50 rotatably connected to the guide members 20, a first roller 21 attached to the guide members 20 to rotate/slide on the base board 3, a seat member 30 rotatably connected to the first roller 21, a tilting table 38 mounted at the front end of the base board 3 so that an end part opposite to the first roller attaching parts of the seat member 30 is separated upward from the base board as the seat member 30 is moved forward, and a second roller 34 attached to the seat member 30 to rotate/slide on the tilting table 38.
