PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical content providing program advantageous for accelerating the treatment of the disease of a patient by carrying out the program with a computer. SOLUTION: When medical content providing program is started, the computer 16 is connected with a server 14 through a network 12 to request the download of contents C1 for treatment explanation and contents C2 for disease explanation. The server 14 supplies the contents C1 and C2 to the computer 16 through the network 12. The computer 16 stores the downloaded contents C1 and C2 in a hard disk device 1612. A control means 1604 reads the contents C1 and C2 stored in the hard disk device 1612 to display the picture of the contents C1 and C2 by a display means 1606 and to output the speech of the contents C1 and C2 by a speech output means.
