PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage and noise of electronic components when abruptly swinging outward from a closed state of a band by a spring force and stopping. SOLUTION: A device body 2 of this wearable electronic device and the band 4 have rigid bodies, and the band 4 incorporates a speaker part 4b, is swingably attached to the device body 2 by a hinge part 5 and energized by a coil spring in the direction of opening outward. The band 4 is provided with a band side damper 13 and the device body 2 is provided with a device body side damper 14. The intermediate part of the device body side damper 14 is relatively movable to the device body 2. When a push button 12 is pushed with the band 4 closed, the band 4 is outward opened by the spring force, the band side damper 13 abuts on the intermediate part of the device body side damper 14 and received thereby while deflectingly deforming it, and then, the band 4 abuts on the side end 2d and the swing is made to stop.
