PURPOSE: A data input device is provided to use a voice tone as a basic unit of a data identification so that it enhances a data processing speed. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a microphone(100), an AD converter(110), a memory(400), an operator(300), and a contact terminal. The microphone(100) discriminates a voice tone and inputs a voice signal. The AD converter(110), electrically connected to the microphone(100), converts the voice signal into the digital signal. The memory(400) stores reference frequencies of a corresponding voice sound. The operator(200), electrically connected to the AD converter(110) and the memory(400), compares the converted digital signal with the reference frequency, and performs a code conversion based on the comparison result. The contact terminal makes the operator(300) contact an output device for outputting a converted code.
