PURPOSE: A grass ground and construction method is provided to improve the efficiency on a ground by extending the vegetative period of a lawn and to improve the drainage efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The grass ground comprises a drainage passage(102) formed on the leveled ground, an inclined ground(101) formed on the ground(100) to be inclined downward, a drainpipe(140) placed in the drainage passage(102) and provided with many holes, a primary filter member(141) covering up the outside of the drainpipe to prevent an inflow of impurities to the holes, a soil layer formed on the drainage passage(102) and the ground to the appointed height, and a lawn formed on the upper part of the soil layer.
