PURPOSE: A structure for mounting an indoor lamp for a vehicle is provided to enhance the appearance without exposing a screw forward, and to repair and replace conveniently without an additional tool by fitting a boss of a lamp housing into a recessed part of a head lining and thread-connecting a lamp holder with the lamp housing. CONSTITUTION: An indoor lamp(10) of a vehicle is composed of a lamp housing(11) embedding a bulb(13), and a lamp holder(12) having a lens(14) and mounting the lamp housing to a head lining(20). A ring-shaped boss(11a) is protruded downward in the lamp housing and fitted to a recessed part(20a) of the head lining. A first thread(11c) is formed in the outer periphery of the lamp housing, and a second thread(12b) is formed in the inner periphery of the lamp holder. The lamp housing is thread-connected to the lamp holder. A first fixing contact part(11b) is formed outside the boss of the lamp housing, and contacted and supported in the rear part of the head lining. A second fixing contact part(12a) is extended upward in the lamp holder, and contacted and supported in the front of the head lining.
