PURPOSE:To make images easily melted together so as to realize stereoscopic observation whatever position in the range of an exit pupil the eyes of an observer are placed at by inclining two luminous fluxes emitted from the respective centers of two images and projected through an ocular in a direction where they may be separated from each other on the observer side. CONSTITUTION:When light beams 3 projected from the centers 2 of right and left images 1 pass through right and left oculars 4 and are made incident on the pupils of the right and left eyes 6 of the observer within the exit pupils 5, the right and left light beams 3 are inclined so that they may cross in front 7 of the eyes of the observer. Namely, the right and left lines of sight going toward the center of the visual field of the observer are converged when the observer observes an object by using the stereomicroscope. Thus, the right and the left images are easily melted together and the stereoscopic observation with little fatigue at the time of observation is realized whether or not a pupil distance is adjusted for every observer so long as the observer has the pupil distance within ordinary distribution. |
