The high voltage unit is electrically and mechanically connected to a set of bus bars (3,4). The metal cladding (18) is fixed to the ground by a pivot (7B), which allows the high voltage unit to tilt about the pivot as the bus bars expand. This avoids the need for axial bellows on the bus bars. The metal cladding may also be made flexible to reduce mechanical stress on it.
