PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an amine compound while maintaining selectivity in the catalyst. SOLUTION: The method comprises carrying out a reaction, using an adiabatic reactor, between ammonia and an organic compound reactive with the ammonia in the presence of a microporous material catalyst to produce the corresponding amine compound, wherein the reaction is carried out while substantially lowering the inlet temperature of the reactor with the lapse of reaction time.
