PURPOSE: A bagless vacuum cleaner is provided to reduce the cost of filter exchange by using a filter assembly semipermanently. CONSTITUTION: A bagless vacuum cleaner is composed of a brush(187), a driving motor mounted to a cleaner body(100) and generating suction force, the cleaner body having a filter mounting box(101), a dust suction tube communicated with the filter mounting box and connected to the brush, a filter assembly(150) mounted to the filter mounting box, and a body cover(120). The body cover is coupled to the filter assembly so that the filter assembly is easily inserted/removed into/from the filter mounting box. The filter assembly includes a filter housing(152) having an opening, a first filter unit connected to the filter housing, and a second filter unit mounted between the filter housing and the first filter unit. The filter housing includes a connecting hook connected to the body cover, and a safety lever. The second filter unit includes a second filter, a second filter holder for supporting the second filter, and a filter net for enclosing the second filter holder.
