PURPOSE: A multipurpose cordless phone to which a wireless headset and a detachable headset dongle are coupled is provided to allow a user to answer a call without interrupting work that he/she is handling. CONSTITUTION: A telephone body(1) includes a phone circuit module(14) allowing call origination and destination through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network), a hook switch(11), a key pad(12) including a plurality of keys for inputting a phone number, a buzzer unit(13) for outputting a destination tone when a call is received, a charging circuit unit(15) for charging a headset dongle and a wireless headset through the first and second charging jacks(17,18), and an earphone jack(16) for connection to the headset dongle. A phone/electric adapter(4) includes a phone jack connected to the PSTN and a power jack for supplying power, and makes the telephone body(1) be connected to the PSTN and to a power source through the jacks. A phone plug(5) connects the phone jack with the PSTN. An outlet(6) changes general AC power to DC power and supplies the DC power to the power jack.
