PURPOSE: A navigation system for restrictively outputting an alarm, an apparatus and a method for generating an alarm to restrictively output an alarm in the navigation system are provided to prevent the confusion of the driver due to various voice guides by omitting the unnecessary voice guides. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating an alarm to restrictively output an alarm in the navigation system includes a data receiving unit(510), a data analyzing unit(530), a sensor unit(520), a restricted alarm generating unit(540) and an alarm/guide information output unit(550). The data receiving unit(510) outputs the received path guide data. The data analyzing unit(530) determines whether the alarm data is included at the path guide data outputted from the data receiving unit(510) or not. The sensor unit(520) senses the current driving speed of the moving object. The restricted alarm generating unit(540) determines whether the alarm for the alarm data is outputted or not by receiving the path guide data including the alarm data from the data analyzing unit(530) and receiving the current driving speed from the sensor unit(520). And, the alarm/guide information output unit(550) outputs the alarm information when the alarm information is transmitted by determining the output of alarm at the restricted alarm generating unit(540).
