The arrangement has a blocking unit (80) driven longitudinally in translation towards a front, during insertion of a data medium (12) in a housing (40) of a case (36). The unit has a control finger (90) that forms a cam follower that cooperates with a profile cam (100). The cam is integrated with the case to cause insertion of a blocking finger (88) in a notch (28) when the unit reaches a restrained longitudinal position.
