Cosmetic composition comprises a compound (I) giving a melting peak with a mid-height width of 10[deg]C or less and an amorphous polymer (II) capable of forming a water-soluble film. The polymer (II) is present in an amount at least equal to the amount of compound (I). Independent claims are also included for: (1) cosmetic make-up or care of keratinic materials by applying a composition comprising an amorphous film-forming polymer, the composition being heated to or above its melting point before, during or after application; and (2) kit comprising a container, a make-up or care composition containing an amorphous polymer capable of forming a water-soluble film, an applicator and means for heating the composition.
