PURPOSE: A slag granulation apparatus is provided to manufacture high quality dry slag by uniformly cooling slag containing quicklime and promoting granulation action performed when cooling the slag as an apparatus for recycling the slag by cooling slag that is industrial waste generated from the stainless steel manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: The slag granulation apparatus comprises a conveyor(51) for transferring slag in the solid state; a rotary cooler in which a space is formed so that the slag transferred by the conveyor is fed into the space, and which is rotationally installed on the upper surface of an upper plate(67); a motor connected to the rotary cooler by means of chain(92) to rotate the rotary cooler; a cooler(62) for supplying cooling air into the rotary cooler; an inclination control means for controlling an inclination angle of the rotary cooler; upper discharge port(68) and lower discharge port(69) installed at the other side of the rotary cooler to discharge treated material; a cyclone(73) for classifying fine powder discharged through the upper discharge port according to weight of the fine powder; a cooler(74) for cooling hot air supplied along with fine powder; a dust collector(75) for collecting fine powder completed in the cooler(74); and a screen(72) for sorting the treated material discharged through the lower discharge port.
