PREPARATION METHOD OF HIGH-FUNCTIONAL PRECIPITATED CALCIUM CARBONATE BY NOZZLE SPOUTING METHOD WHICH FORMS A PLURALITY OF NUCLEI BY INCREASING CONTACT AREA OF CALCIUM CARBONATE AND SUSPENSION

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a high-functional precipitated calcium carbonate and its apparatus are provided, to allow a microfine precipitated calcium carbonate to be prepared, irrespective of the concentration of suspension by using a nozzle spouting method. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (S100) preparing a suspension comprising water and calcium hydroxide and a carbon dioxide gas and spraying the suspension and the gas to a reaction tank; (S200) firstly preparing calcium carbonate by the carbonation of the sprayed suspension and gas; (S300) stopping the spraying of the carbon dioxide gas during the carbonation; (S400) secondly preparing calcium carbonate by the carbonation of the sprayed suspension and gas after the step (S300); (S500) filtering the prepared calcium carbonate; and (S600) drying the filtered calcium carbonate. Preferably if the pH of the calcium carbonated prepared in the second carbonation is determined to be over about 6.0, the second carbonation is continued, and if not, the filtering step is proceeded.
