<p>The invention relates to a motorcycle fuel tank with a seat (1a), the fuel tank (1) comprising a first section (2) located in front of the seat and having a filler inlet (6), a second section (3) connected to the first section (2) by an intermediate section (4). The second section (3) extends at the back of the seat (1a) in the end part of the motorcycle, the intermediate section (4) being under the seat (1a) and the second section (3) having a maximum fill level higher than the maximum fill level of the intermediate section (4), for optimum use of the space close to the seat (1a) and an increased fuel tank (1) capacity. There is also a device (5) for emptying air and fuel vapours from the upper part of the second section (3). <IMAGE></p>
