<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the processing capability of the system from being lost due to a large number of packets even when the large number of the packets are sent tentatively resulting from an operation fault of a terminal equipment in the packet reception system receiving multiple packets. SOLUTION: A control packet is extracted from a packet received by a reception packet type discrimination section 3 and a count section 5 counts the number of the extracted control packets. In this case, every time the control packets within a prescribed time counted by a timer 6, the number is counted for each link. After the count exceeds a default value stored in a default value storage section 4, the received control packets are aborted. The default value stored in the default value storage section 4 is decided in advance for each link. Thus, stable processing is applied to packets received normally by aborting the control packets received by an operation fault or the like.</p> |
