PURPOSE: A tape having an indicator line is provided to facilitate the selection of a position where the tape is attached and to enable the tape to be attached correctly at a desired position. CONSTITUTION: The tape(1) has an indicator line(3) on one surface(2) thereof. At least one indicator line(3) including a subsidiary indicator line(4) is represented on one surface(2) of the tape(1). The indicator line(3) is defined as a line or mark with any size and color as necessary. The surface(2') opposite to the surface(2) having the indicator line(3) thereon optionally has a character or figure for advertisement or aesthetic appreciation.
