<p>The system, for use on a new or existing building, consists of making the balcony (2) or terrace as an independent structure that is installed on the facade of the building (1) using anchors (3) that create thermal bridges. The assembly of the balcony or terrace can be made continuous with the main building or not, and the anchors are in the form of standardised bars with a polymer coating that are keyed into the rear zones of each balcony or terrace and into beams or hoops in the building facade.
