摘要 PURPOSE: An idle control method of a vehicle is provided to minimize fuel consumption and production of exhaust gas via ideal idle control. CONSTITUTION: An idle control method of a vehicle comprises steps of determining whether the vehicle speed is zero according to a signal input from a vehicle sensor(S100); determining whether the stopping time is over predetermined time while the vehicle speed is zero(S110); determining whether the shift state of the vehicle is in an N-range or a P-range(S120); changing the common desired rpm(revolutions per minute) of idle into desired rpm of a stop state(S130); controlling the idle into the desired rpm of the stop state from the common desired rpm of idle in a D-range(S131); determining whether an electric load signal is input(S140); determining whether the shift state is in the N-range or the P-range after the passage of reference time of electric load delay time(S150,S160); changing the idle into the common desired rpm of idle from the desired rpm of the stop state(S170); and controlling the idle from the desired rpm of the D-range stop state into the desired rpm of idle of the common D-range state.
