METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OFFERING REGIONAL INFORMATION SEARCH RESULT RELATED ON SEARCHER

PURPOSE: A method and a system for offering a regional information search result are provided to offer more useful information to a searcher by offering the search result in reference to regional information associated with the searcher when the search result is offered to the searcher. CONSTITUTION: A regional information processor(810) receives the searching region information from the searcher and stores the received region information. A search request receiver(820) receives a search request from the searcher. A storing part(830) stores search items associated with a network information provider, and stores the region information by directly receiving the region information from the network information provider or extracting the region information from a web page and environment setting information of the network information provider. A search executer(840) distinguishes the search item associated with the keyword matched with the search request and selects the search item associated the regional information matched with the stored search region information from the distinguished search items. A search result providing part(850) arranges the selected search items according to a search item arrangement method.
